"The idea to start a beauty brand came from a really “ugly” experience I went through in 2021. That difficult time sparked something within me, and I knew I wanted to create a brand that would emphasize the importance of inner beauty. That’s why I chose the name Stems Beauty—to make it synonymous with our message that beauty stems from within, no matter how difficult the journey. Our tagline, “Beauty Stems From Within,” serves as a reminder that even from the ugliest moments, growth and transformation are not only possible but inevitable.

 

That experience inspired me to disrupt the beauty industry and challenge the superficiality that so often defines it. I knew then that I wanted to create something different—something that encourages growth, perseverance, and self-discovery from the inside out.​That’s how Journal Journey was born: an inner beauty tool designed to inspire others to do the inner work necessary to become their healthiest, happiest selves.

 

But the story doesn’t end there. When the samples for Journal Journey arrived, my little munchkin Marley saw them and asked, “What’s this? Can I have one?” Her curiosity prompted me to create Journal Journey Junior, a self-discovery journal for kids, so that this journey of self-love and growth could start early.
